| vdd mod I'm wanting to do a vdd mod on my 8RDA+. I was wanting to know how high of a voltage can I go before I will need some kind of cooling on my NB. Also, if I do need cooling, can anyone point me to a cheap place to get it? Thx.

| I was told by Epox Germany again, that Vdd-adjustment is planned in a future bios release...I'm gettin mad now  Can anybody from Epox here at the Forum confirm or deny the possibility of BIOS- Vdd- Adjustment on 8RDA+? Coz why is Epox Germany telling everybody that it's planned? Just tell us please - POSSIBLE, or IMPOSSIBLE. This would be enough for me, i don't need the option right now, just want to know if it's possible. Pleeeease

| Well, I heard different. I heard that no vdd adjustments could be made in BIOS with the current boards, but they were getting ready to release a new board in which vdd adjustments could be made

| where do you have your information from?? Mine is directly from Epox Germany. And ET has never stated Bios-Vdd-adjust to be impossible -so that's why i'm asking for clarification. Or am i wrong? Just point me to the thread, which i'm missing- but i really didn't find a clear "NO" from ET anywhere...

| toXicbluE and others I think that info was found here: http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/EPoX/8RDA+/ Just scroll down to "Conclusion". It makes sense that a physical modification would have to be made to motherboards in production before release . But the 1 question I have is ,"Why list the voltage in the bios and the monitoring program unless it was already change-able OR thought to be of some concern ahead of time?". Why list it if we can't do anything about it? I really like my 8RDA+ ! bob
