| Please help me calm down, say win xp nforce drivers are WAY BETTER than the win98se:s Please tell me that the win xp drivers for my 8rda+ is much better than the win 98se. That the onboard sound really works as it should. That you can install the drivers even if you donīt got a nvidia video card.

| I believe they are. I believe that not to much attention was payed to 98. this belief is based solely on remembered posts.

| The winXp and win2K driver support is excelent, id definatley recomend using either of these over Win98X if possible.

| I think developers don't put much effort on older OSes like Windows 98 anymore. Windows 2000 is a much better solution. I can tell you the "migration" from 98 to 2000 is one way only!

| Well I am dual-booting because of compatibility issues. Believe it or not but there is bigger compability with win98se still than for win xp for gaming and audio -solutions. So when they donīt wok with my win xp pro I use win98se instead since the drivers for this op system are almost always flawless. Find it weird that nvidia got so much bigger trouble with the win 98se drivers than with the win xp drivers especially since they are saying they support both these op systems.
