8RDA+@200fsb?

Hi I finally got mine setup and found out that with my 1600+ that I just unlocked I can't get the .5 multi's, is that a common thing? If I try and use 9.5 it just runs at 9. Also I tried 8x200 which my ocz 3500EL DC should do easy, it is really unstable and I think I got HD corruption from it. What can I do to get over the ellusive 200fsb level? Does it probably require that vdd mod?

Join the club. I just got my second board and it won't do over 180'ish either. Just strolled onto this group again and see its become an epidemic.

A few lucky people getting 200MHz or more but most of us stuck at 180MHz FSB. Not that its a bad thing but it doesn't live up the the expectations of the rumors, does it?

I might try another brand nForce2 board, or maybe I'll just wait for an official 400MHz board to come out.

I ordered the stuff to do the VDD modd, so maybe I'll get lucky.

I haven't seen anyone w/ the vdd mod not over 200mhz

I'm pretty sure some of the other boards have vdd in bios.

or depending on how you look at it.

being that I only bought one board it's for me.

I won't be using the super high core voltage (>1.85), a diff manufaturer would've given me vdd in addition to the rest of it.

Check the voltages from your PSU. I have the same enermax as you and think that is holding me back slightly. BTW I would not reccommend modding it though.:nervous:

Cool 200FSB

cut third L12, reverts CPU back to 133 FSB, the 200+ will work with the board,

i have read about it at many forums.

9 volt battery does the job, i just remapped the x's on my 2700+ that way, works fast, just be carefull.

what if you already have a 133fsb part?

huh?
I've never heard of using a 9v battery, where are you wiring that thing in?

That is one of the best power supplies around, if a different power supply does a better job, it's most likely overvolting everything, which from a pure spec stand point would make it an inferior power supply while possibly beneficial to you and I.

If you think the enermax is holding you back, it's not due to shortage of watts, it's just not running as much voltage as you would want.
