I wouldn't get these drivers as the asus board has a different audio system to the epox. Remember when installing the reference v2.0 drivers when it said that the audio bit would not be installed on the asus board

Is the problem with the ide driver and stuttering fixed yet? Last time I installed it was so bad that I had to format (removal caused a variety of problems), but I really do like how little the cpu usage was with it.

I guess with the new nVidia ref drivers it doesn't matter but the Asus has some features which are enabled in Asus' drivers for sound. Non Asus boards can use Asus drivers but Asus users will lose functionality of the extra features when using ref drivers, e.g. additional mic input. I am using the Asus drivers now unless you didn't guess already. I don't have any IDE problems and loaded the MCP driver manually after doing the default install (which also works fine).

They come straight from Nvidia now too: http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=nforce_udp_winxp_2.03

I wouldnt bother with 2.03 unless you have not yet used windows update to update your Nforce Audio to driver 2917 (now been available for over 5 weeks from MS). The UDP still has the bug that stops it from installing the SW IDE drivers correctly. Apart from that - Nvidia, that's a pretty poor update, hang your head in shame.
