| 8RDA+ Keyboard Woes Just treated myself to an 8RDA+ and very impressed. One slightly niggling problem is with my Logitech PS/2 keyboard, which doesn't seem to be detected on reboot. Have tried the keyboard on another system and it seems okay. Is there an issue with the PS/2 connectors on the 8RDA+? Problem is resolved by removing and replacing the keyboard connector. If the system was in a position where vibration/movement would dislodge the connector, I could understand it, but it isn't. System is stock 8RDA+, non-overclocked. 2 x 256 Mb Micron RAM 3129 BIOS 2.03 NVidia chipset drivers Win XP Pro Grateful for any feedback Paul

| Cheers for the welcome, muzz! Been lurking for a while and it seems a friendly place to be!! Can't find anything of relevance in the BIOS and I have a USB only mouse, so I can't check the other PS/2 connector. Only thing that I haven't tried is to replace the keyboard and see if that does the trick. Now, how to smuggle a keyboard out of work discreetly..........!!! Paul

| I have a ms internet keyboard ps/2 , works great on any pc I've hooked it up to. It has 10 cool quicklink buttons on the top edge (my fave is the calculator one). You could try removing the keyboard from your work 1 key at a time , then it won't be so noticable. 8) bob |

| Sorry for the delay in replying. Been on Nights EluSiOn - Thanks for the pointer. Thought that I'd covered all possible sites for this problem, and completely missed the most obvious! Thanks. timbob2469 - Top idea for smuggling out the keyboard! Borrowing in instalments - I like it! I'll look at plan B and actually buy one later in the week. Thanks to all for your help Paul

| I've been fighting for weeks trying to get my 8RDA+ to work correctly with different combinations of KB and mice. Basically if I have PS2 KB and mouse, and then introduce any form of USB device i.e scanner, the KB and Mouse don't work on every second boot. Happens every time. Everything USB works fine!! Any ideas, as it's driving me nuts. Build another one for a mate last week and it's exactly the same?
