i wouldnt up voltage that high unless you dont care if it has a relatively short life, thats pushing it for air, even with an slk, do you know the stepping on your 2400? if its an aiucb you should sell it on ebay an buy a 2100 from newegg, the aiuhbs that have been coming out of there have been hitting 2300 pretty easily, i have one thats at 2350 on only 1.75v 2400mhz at 1.8

my stepping is the aiuhb and the life span of 5 yrs cut to 2 with the high voltage i can live with as have read people using 2v+ with it

was wondering if it was the overvolt protection kicking in but i wasnt getting the black screen just a lock up

or if memory timmings would need to be lowered

whats your vdimm? if its not already @ 2.77 try upping it. and as for the 2v thing those people prob wont have a proc long at all, even if it is water cooled, prommies should last tho, 2v is about the point where electromigration occurs at .13um, i would say anything above 1.8v is cutting it pretty close to 2v. anyway, how about cooling, e.g. northbridge an mosfets? just a suggestion. if you havent already you might as well mess with the ram timings too and try to relax them

I have one of those cpu's and encountered the same problem , I think we have run out of headroom , mine won't run above 2250MHz-2260MHz or therabout . On air.
