8rda+ vdd mod: ground to pin4 or ... ?

i've done the vdd mod on my 8rda+ mb.

my question is what is better to use for ground, pin4 of the 3037 chip or something else. for the moment i'm using fan header ground as i thought it would save me from some soldering on the chip itself.

is that bad? why?

thanks!

Did the fan header ground work?

I was thinking of grounding mine to the mobo mount screw..

I would use pin 4. Why? Remeber that there are two ways to regulate power - by limiting the source or the ground. I wouldn't trust anything else to have the same ground strength as the pin.

using the pin on the chip is best practice as then you have a common earth.

Allot of Vcore mods need you to use the chips earth pin not the case as noise on the earth can make things unstable.
