Where to get 8RDA+ spdif bracket

Hello,

I'm looking to pick up the optional spdif bracket for my 8RDA+ but according to the .pdf order form from www.epox.com, it is out-of-stock. There is no ETA and it seems that the only way to know when it is back in-stock is to periodically reload the order form and see if it has been updated.
There's got to be a better way.

Does anyone know any vendors, preferably in Canada but US is fine too, that carry this item?

Thanks.

Send a message via ICQ to sirtoby

You could always look up the number to the tech support and give them a call, or try to email them?

I had emailed sales@epox.com just before posting here....just exploring options.
Anyway, I just got back from lunch and they have responded saying that it is now back in stock and attached the new order form .pdf with the updated status.

So, if anyone in US/Canada wants to order one and they haven't updated the online .pdf, let me know and I can send you the one that came with my email.

it's $18, if anyone was wondering. the old online form didn't have the price either.

free shipping, but i'm assuming sales tax for CA orders.

Yes, they've uploaded the new .pdf.

Does anyone know why they don't have an on-line ordering system? Just curious.

will this s/pdif connector from Asus work on our MoBos? the Asus board I saw has the same 2x3 s/pdif connector on the mobo as the 8rda+ w/ one pin from the 2nd row missing.

couple of bucks cheaper and coax in/outputs.

if anyone is interested, i found the Asus manual (a7n8x) online and looks like maybe some rewiring of the cable will make things work.

for the 2-row x 3-pin mobo header

asus pin assignments:
gnd no-pin gnd
digi-in +5v digi-out

epox pin assignments:
digi-in no-pin vcc (+5v?)
gnd no-charge digi-out

i'm no EE, but i'm assuming once the right signals get to the card everything should be peachy for both the optical & regular jacks
