I may have just done a very bad thing - ordered 8RGA

Northgate sent me to Access Micro. I ordered the 8RGA. I just stupidly assumed because the importer sent me there it was a good thing.

Today I looked at resellerratings and it has scared the living daylights out of me. They seem particularly bad about handling any sort of RMA. Given peoples experience with the RDA there seems to be a real chance of needing exchanges.

Can you cancel the order and get it elsewhere? I would think so if you just did it...

I did it last night and saw the ratings to late to do anything today.

I called Newegg before I ordered and they said they did not know if they would ever have them and then that they might but had no idea when.

I do not know what the distribution plan is with Northgate. Access seems to sell their stuff according to one of the feedback items.

I will think on this tonight. I really need to get a machine in operation and have been delaying it for months waiting for the RGA. I still have no idea when these things will hit retailers.

Actually I don't have the option. I just went to Outlook to send an email to Northgate and there was an email that the board has shipped from AccessMicro this afternoon. They were quick.

I ordered my 8RGA+ this morning, had it shipped overnight. Order processed and mailed today - got the tracking number.

Access Micro is part of MWave.com, no?

Perhaps Epox should have checked resellerraatings. This will do wonders for Epox's reputation for superior service.
