Question 2400+ on 8RDA

hi! some offered to trade me his 2400+ TbredB vs. my 2000+ TbredA and 10 Euro's (don't ask me why )
@ what clockspeed will this proc run approx. (w/ sufficient cooling of course)?
PS. my 2000+ stops @ 1930Mhz

I have seen close to 2500MHz with good air cooling on a 2400+. Mine has made it up to 2250MHz with water cooling.

I have one of the first 2400's out, not the best overclocker, but a bit over 2200 MHz on an 8RDA, you still got one good bargain..................

@ all those we posted - what stepping did you have for your max (stable) OC of your 2400+?

I have the following:

I have the AIUCB stay away from these earlier steppings! In order to achieve even small overclocks such as 2333MHz I have to pump almost 1.95V into it. It does run perfectly stable at this speed, but seems anything above this is very difficult to maintain. The AIUCB's were downgraded 2600+, if your 2000+ were a B-core, it most likely would have been a downgraded 2800+.

The 2400+ AIUHB's seem to reach 2500MHz relatively easy, BUT once they hit their ceiling the voltage VS MHz gained ration is insane. Meaning you really have to pump current into these things.

Have your friend iterate the CPUID to you verbatem, and enter it into this program; http://mp3.zonebg.com/cpu/cpu.php

i've got it running @ 2560 now @ 2.050 Vcore. it will do >2600 but won't run 3dmark @ those speeds. got it to run @ 2580 but its only stable at night :clown: (lower temp) btw i'm using innovatek watercooling. 38 C under load. thinking about making a phasechange system out of an old freezer
