EP-8K5A3+ is linux slackware supported ?

hey everyone ;}
ok i currently have a fileserver up and running using linux slackware. just an old 850 duron with 1 20 gig for os and 2 x 80 giggers for files. its hooked up with 2 nics one for external network and one for internal network. i just bought a topower rackmount case and have been eyeing this motherboard from epox.. the EP-8K5A3+. i like the looks of the 12 ide devices. and want to max this thing out with 250 gigers. not really interested in the overclocking abilities, sound or really video, just hard drive space. So has anyone succesfully installed a linux platform on this board. im wondering if there is driver support for this board and linux. or does anyone foresee problems? im interested in doing a stripe config to get the maximum amount of hard drive space available. was looking at close to 3 terrabytes if all goes well.
im prolly gonna opt for 2 3com nics and just bypass the onboard lan, as iptable config is easier with the same brand nics.
any input would be greatly appreciated.
