Just figured this might help some if you

I am running

Epox 8RDA+
AMD ATHLON 2500+ (Barton Core)
512 MB Crucial 2700 Memory
120 GB Western Digital SE (8MB BUFFER)
ATI Radeon 8500 ALL-IN-WONDER (128) (WITH LATEST CATALYST DRIVERS)
USING ONBOARD SOUND (NFORCE2) (WITH LATEST UNFIED DRIVER PACKAGE)
ALL RUNNING ON WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION (SP1)

WHAT HAPPENED IS I HAD JUST PURCHASED WINDOWS XP SO IT HAD WINDOWS XP AND SP1 INCLUDED ON THE SAME DISK. WHEN I INSTALLED IT I WAS GETTING ALOT OF "DELAYED WRITE FAILED" ERRORS IN WINDOWS AND MASSIVE INSTABLILTITY WITH GAMES AND ALOT OF BLUE SCREENS.

WHAT I HAD TO DO TO FIX IT WAS BORROW SOMEONES OUTDATED WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION CD (WITHOUT SP1 INCLUDED) INSTALL IT AND DOWNLOAD SP1 AND THE REST OF THE UPDATE SEPERATLY NOW ALL IS FINE. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE. (PS IF YOU OWN UPGRADE YOU MUST BORROW UPGRADE BECAUSE THAT IS ALL YOUR CD-KEY WILL WORK ON)

Yes, thanks. It just solved a problem I've been having with a friends system I just built.

Welcome to the forums as well.
