8RDA+ boot question

Just recently when I boot my 8RDA+ up it will stay at the windows xp loading screen longer then normal, and then it will shut off and reboot. I have tried to change back to default settings in the bios, but it doesnt help. Im not sure what could cause this, anyone have any ideas?

Anyone? please? My setup wasnt really clocked that high at all 195x11.5 I think. My temps at start up are low 35C. I really dont know what the deal is.

Try to do a XP repair and see if that fixes the problem. If it won't let you do a repair and reboots either during or before then you have a heat issue somewhere, possibly the NB.

I tried to get into the repair console, but it asks for an administrators password. I have never assinged an administrators password to this machine. Im certain that I do not have an overheating problem, because I have a water cooled cpu and nb. I am now reinstalling windows hopefully that will make this stop. I think that this is a Windows problem, because it is not restarting now that I am just running the setup

All you would have had to do was press enter when it asked for a password, then at the console type "fixboot" and it will write a new bootsector for windows.

btw, i have used this to fix up corruption from ocing when settings are a bit to high, when corruption of data occurs.
