Twinmos Winbond

I'm in desperate search of Twinmos RAM w/ Winbond chips (256 mb pc3200) for my 8RDA but I can't find these anywhere in Holland!!! Any of u Hollandese :clown: guys know where to get these?????

btw i've found a store that sells twinmos memory, but not the winbond kind . what they DO sell are chips that say:
"TMD 670 6FDE 50B" (the twinmos kind I presume) and
"TSC 305 GLA 10"

both say "Taiwan -5" (5 nanoseconds)

...I think I have no other option than to go with one of these, so which one should I pick, the TMD or the TSC???

I have purchased and used both Twinmos with Winbond and Twinmos chips, they both seem to work and overclock well........they seem to like a little extra voltage, and a 3-2-2 setting at cas 2.0 with the 3 on the Trp.

The Twinmos with Twinmos chips that I have used is the "TMD"

I got mine online from komplett (you can find in a search engine), they deliver next day (from Europe) to the UK so maybe will deliver to Holland as well ?

what do u guys recommend? 3200 or 3700? i read that 3700 doesn't always perform well on epox boards, on the other hand, i do want to go for max FSB

Unless I'm wrong there is no Twinmos w/Winbond in the 3700 flavour just the 3200, so if it's Twinmos w/Winbond you want it has to be the 3200??

Thats a shame they don't deliver to holland !

Judgeing by the 2 threads on this forum regarding Twinmos 3700, I think its safe to say that going to the 3200 Winbond is a much safer bet for a stable and reasonable overclock, besides you did start the thread with "desperately searching - Twinmos/Winbond"

Maybe try looking at retailers that will deliver to Holland ?

If they are the BH-5 chips then they should be ok.
