Front panel Aud mic to 8RDA+

Hi all !

Hope that someone can help me out.

I have a MIDI tower box with a pre mounted front panel for speakers and microphone witch I want to connect to the motherboard 8RDA+.

The cable from the front panel is an 8 pin and I have tried to figure out how to conect this to the motherboard 10 (9?) pin AUD2 connection, page 3-10 in the manual.

My 8 pin cable looks lie this:
1 Green Mic IN 2 Orange Mic IN
3 Black GND 4 Black GND
5 Yellow R IN 6 Red L IN
7 Purple R OUT 8 Blue L OUT

and the 10 pin motherboard connection:
1 Mic IN 2 GND
3 ? 4 +5V
5 Speaker Out R 6 Speaker Out R1 (with a jumper set)
7 ? 8 (no pin)
9 Speaker Out L 10 Speaker Out L1 (with a jumper set)

Is it possible to connect this cable to the AUD2 connection?
I only want to use a headset from the front panel connections.

Anyone who can help me out here?

The ordinary speakers are connected to the back panel and are working fine.

To be brief..due a search for mic in this forum. There are many answers including 1 that might be your exact setup.

Thanks to your thread I managed to get my headset work. It was a bit confusing because my cable from the frompanel had two "MIC IN" parts but I only had to use one. So for the MIC i only had to connect "MIC IN" to PIN 1 and ground to PIN 2. Didn't had to use the +5V pin at all
