Question Only AGP 2x ??

I have a Geforce 2 GTS.
With my previous system, ASUS CUSL2 and a P III 700, I was able to run my card in AGP 4x.
With my EPoX 8KHA+, it's only goes in 2x.
Can anyone give an explanation to this?

I take it you changed the option in the bios.

Are you FSB overclocking, can the card take it ?

You could try using NVmax or something to change the AGP mode if windows is being thick.

There should be a option there somewhere, same menu as memory settings.

What bios version do you have ?

well, either way, the difference between 2x and 4x is very very minor.

If your card is capable of 1.5v operation, AGP4x will be available, if only 3.3v operation is possible, AGP2x is available.
