| incredible story i ve got a palomino 2000+ . i previously had a 8k5a2+ (that died on a c1 error) i got bsods i have now a 8k9a2+ : the same bsod. i have now a tbred B 1700+ JIUHB====> 48h without bsod. i put the 2000+ on a 8k3a to sell it and guess what randoms bsods!!!!! i think this cpu has a problem . it s not a temp prob : i tried with the amd hs, with a kanie hedgehog, and finally with an slk800 it was the same: errors durin windows install and then random bsods....... does someone understand anything??????

| Looks pretty conclusive to me - your CPU is cactus, mate! You have done the right thing and got a new one! Try running it and your memory as slow as your mobo will go and set all your BIOS settings to maximum stability. BTW how is your HDD?
