Weird Problem in WIn XP

Okay first of I'm not sure if this has anythign to do with epox boards or not but as I'm using one and this board gets the most looks it seems the best hope. I "sometimes" get a very long hanging time when I double click on my computer looking for any sort of files or directory get that daft egg timer going on and on and on and on and on etc etc etc. Im using windows xp with sp1 and 2.03 nvidia drivers rest of hardware should be in sig, this only happens sometimes but I have a feeling it actually maybe my antivirus pc cillin severly slowing things down, any ideas?

There is a patch from windows update that recently did the same thing to my pc, its some kind of conflict with peoples anti virus programs, Microsoft recommends (lol) to shut down your AV, I just uninstalled the patch. Update Q811493 is the one thats causing all the problems I believe.
