new ram .. incredible speed ..

hi guys!

i bought some new ram (twinmos pc3200 w/ winbond bh-5) for my 8rda+ .. what should i say?
WOW!

now i can run 2-2-2 2 timings at 193 fsb!:-D
(i'll do the vdd-mod on the weekend so stay tuned)
with my good old corsair pc2700 i was only able to run 3-3-3-2.5 at 193

Where'd you buy your memory? I don't see any Twinmos for sale on newegg

well, in germany you can buy this kind of ram only via internet

Well of course you can run higher speeds at lower latencies running the new ram....... you showed rolling eyes like the ram you had was a POS, it was fine, and was doing what it was designed to do( actually BETTER than was guaranteed), your new ram is doing what IT is supposed to( and THEN some at those latencies), and after the vdd mod if you have a decent board it'll probably do 200fsb at 2-2-2-2 ( well mine did with XMS3500c2[same ic chips] ).
Glad you like your new ram Baller, TM 3200 is some sweet stuff bro, and at a fabulous price.

well i just vdd-modded the board right now .. everything works fine!
the ram timings @ 200 fsb are 2-2-2.0 3 .. i can't get 2-2-2.0 2 to work .. win starts but then nothing really runs ..

but with 2-2-2-3 and memtest1.2 (20000% coverage) everything is goddamn fast!!!

first when tring high fsb's set tras at 4-5 or even 6 second add some active cooling to the NB ... mos looks nice tho good job

active cooling will come at the end of the week .. a 100% iceberq clone is available in germany now *happy* (the original iceberq is -i don't know why- not available in germany) .. the cooler is ordered and will come asap ..

btw. i got the instruction for the mod by the homepage of the german pc-mag "chip" .. link:
