8rda/tbred b temps

Is the reading for the temps on the 8rda with a 2100 tbred b done with the socket probe or on die? Also are these temps supposed to be accurate?
The reason I ask is because my cpu temp is 29c with a case temp of 27c right now at stock settings with a slk900 with a 92mm tornado at about half speed.
I just find it hard to believe its running that cool even at stock speed and volts. Thanks

edit: ok I found out about the on die issue but I still dont understand how my temps can be so low,im not complaining lol I just want to know if maybe something is wrong

Its reading from the socket. So you need to add 15-20 degrees celcius to your current reading.

You have a good HSF and presumably good case ventilation with a reasonable room temp- then that is reasonable- I get 32.C IDLE with an SK7 and 80mm fan against a room temp of 20.C.

Yes something is wrong. The 8RDA+ does not report accurate temps. In MBM5 I added 7c to the CPU and 5c to the MOBO sensors to bring the system to what I think it should be reading. This was done comparing the same system and same componets while using an 8K3A+ mobo reading from the die.
