4PCA3+ pcb 1.1 Vcore reading low ?

Just grab the lovely w/ a P4-2.4c. I can run @ 3.2G while Vcore set in bios is 1.6V. But I found that the Vcore's reading or the actual Vcore output is much less than what I set in the Bios.

When I set 1.6V at bios, it only show 1.53-1.55v on POST screen and in USDM. It even goes as low as 1.52v while full loading in Prime 95 no matter I am overclocking or not.

I am using SPI 400W power supply, which previously work fine and give a little bit higher voltage (0.03) than what I set in the bios.

The 4PCA+ bios date is 23/4, which I think is the 2nd bios release.

EPOXTECH,

Any clues for me or later bios will solve the under volt problem.

Thanks

Stable in default speed 2.4G @ both default 1.525v & 1.6v set in bios.

But not yet burn in for o/c, and just want to make sure it is normal if I set 1.6V and the USDM / bios shown btw 1.52 to 1.57. I can't see 1.6v at all.

Since Epox is good at o/c for all its products line. I would perfer if it can be higher at least with actual output @ 1.6v cause that make much o/c ability.

Thanks

Ok,

1. My power SPI 400W power supply is in good & working conditions and I am not overclocking my p4-2.4c.

When using the default 1.525v vcore voltage, USDM & bios show vcore fluctuating between 1.46v to 1.50v.

When vcore set at 1.6V, USDM & bios report varied from 1.52v to 1.57v.

Is it normal to have such deviation ?

2. For overclocking purpose, I really hope the board can adjust the vcore a bit higher to 1.65v.

Thanks & please accept my poor english.

ME too...

I am ready to buy this mobo. Except for 1 thing. I read a review that stated that 1.6v is the max CPU voltage. I thought it must be a mistake, considering Epox is known for the killer overclocks. If it is 1.6 I am sure Epox will fix it with a bios release.
