Just flashed to this bios from the 3129 which gives me best mem performance...

I did a quick bench comparison and although the memory performance is down from the 3129 in various benchmarks... My 3DMark2001 score is virtually identical so I'm gonna stick with this BIOS for now...

Hehe ... Plovdiv has 300 000 - 400 000 citizens. Do you know where she work? We can continue the conversation through icq if you have a registered one.

you have got to be refering to this:

Quote:
anyone that visits a certain epox forum alot, will know the answer to this.

TO MANY NAGGERS!

What I mean by that, is that if u go read in there forums, you will get the most nagging group of people together, ever.

This is not neccesarily a bad thing to the guys that aint nagging, cause you getting alot nicer service and support. But oh dear, you kinda wanna jump in and tune them straight, "SHUTUP" when u read some of those posts.

hehe, my 2cents worth.
Yea I know what you mean.

I used to hang out over there allot but the mods are kinda stinky about things like posting links in the forums so I rather hang out over here and just read over there sometimes now.

I now know what others mean when you say you get the siren. First boot after flash I hear the British Police siren and no post... I think uh oh. After a long reset it boots up normal. Phhheeewwww. I thought I killed it. Now to see where it stands for performance.

Edit: Seeing the Nforce 400 Ultra Support gives me a warm fuzzy

I update my bios usually for no reason other than to see a newer date. Makes my computer seem all new and stuff.

I suspect you'd get you'd get nothing, as the A2/A3 NB are not "nForce 2 Ultra 400". Remember nVidia reworked the NB midway through production to support the official 400MHz FSB.

Having said that, it doesn't definately mean your board won't do the 400MHz FSB datarate. It just means that things are less sure!

Áedán

No, I'm NOT EPoX, I just happen to have one of their boards.

Same problem exists with this bios as did with the beta 3501. Enter bios to change Vdimm, no options are available. If you exit straight away then no freeze, if you try to use the up/down arrow keys the bios frezzers.

Need to reboot.

This problem has been mentioned by a number of peeps, thought it would get sorted for the 'non beta' release??

Anyone else still experiencing this?

My system stats are below.
