| Question for Epox Tech Very nice forum you have here. Anyways my question is the 8khal00 bios. First I replaced my TB1.33 with a XP1800. Been running at 9x166 with the TB and 8khal00 bios to fix the rebooting issue. Now my XP(still locked) is at 150x11.5. My issue is that to run that speed I need to load the 8khi1b02 bios to do so. That's with my vcore at 1.9 and vdimm at 2.8. The new bios will not let me boot into windows at all using the same setup. Not even increasing my voltages seems to help. Now I get reboots with the 11/2 bios while running 3dmark and gaming(understress). By all means I'm not complaining but looking for a answer as to why I can't duplicate the 11/2 performance. Ideas? Will be unlocking my chip this weekend hoping to run at 11x160 air cooled. One last thing where can I get a new bios chip for my 8K7A mobo? I had a bad flash unable to recover and no pci video hanging around. Thanks for your time.

| Any differences in overall speed tha you may be expereincing with the BETA BIOS should be compensated wholly by the increased stability it offers at high FSB's. For your 8K7A - you will be able to purchase a BIOS chip at a reasonable rate from your local EPoX branch office (USA, UK+NI, Europe, Taiwan, Germany, Korea etc).

| As a note - my overclocked speed remains the same with the 11/02/01 BIOS, the 8khaL00.bin BETA and my own BETA of 12/10/01 which I'm usuing now.

| What you won't share your new beta bios? Just joking. For some strange reason with the 11/30 bios I can't reach 11.5x150 like I can with the 11/2. No biggie, in the process of unlocking my chip. Last night was a failure  will try again tonite.BTW, when will Epox come out with a new official bios thats fixes the reboot issues over 150fsb? Thanks for you time as always.
