one stupid question

i always getting this high system temp 40C my cpu temp is 32. i check it w/ sisoftsandra..it sez board temp 32, cpu temp 32, system temp 38-40. ......what does this udm system temperature reading? why too hight than cpu? anyone knows whats happening? thanx

What MB you using?
I would ignore Sandra- it often gets temperature assignments wrong.
Depending on your MB- it might be worth trying MBM5.

Seem to remember it being reported that one of the MB USDMs did not work properly and you need to get an update from Epox.

Depending on the speed you are running I shoudn't worry too much about a temp like that. As the Lord says, try Motherboard Monitor.

i'm using 8rda+ v1.0 barton 2500+ (set back to default speed) system temp reading on board monitor 40c(USDM 1.07) i am lost right here. cpu temp is 32-35c, system temp 40-42c. its the other way..suppose to be cpu reading is higher than system. i know its pretty hot right here its 90F arizona desert.

LoL im in AZ too Mesa too be excat i doo 2800+ at 12.5 x 166 and get 122-132 MAX temps. FINE

Its just about feasable if your case ventilation is good around the CPU HSF but poor under the AGP card.
