Not knowing the all the componets within your system, and whether or not you are overclocking, you may want to try a larger power supply, say 450 watts or bigger?

Try going back to 3129. Heard that onboard NIC is goofy with the newer BIOSs.

Here is something from 8RDAfaq.com

"Onboard LAN / Network not working after flashing bios

If you just flashed to a new bios and your onboard LAN isn't working, I have a fix for you. Go to the command prompt and type "ipconfig /all". Here is an image of what should come up (a couple of things have been removed for privacy reasons) . Take a piece of paper and write down the numbers that are highlighted.

Now restart your system, and enter the "Integrated Peripherals" section in the bios. Enable "Machine MAC(NV) Address" and Input a mac address. You will only be putting in the first half of the number above, so in our example we would be using "000661".

And that's it! Save the settings and reboot and see if this fixes the problem. If it doesn't then you might want to make sure all your drivers are up to date, and in the worst case, go back to a previous bios version."

You might want to go there yourself to see the pics.

The 2 issues you are having are exactly what happened to me with my new 8rda+ Thanks to these forums it's fixed.
For the power on/off problem flashing to the newest bios did the trick for me. As for your NIC, I had to enable it in BIOS and then put first 6 numbers of MAC address in.
Now it runs like a champ!
