http://www.warp2search.net/article.p...thread&order=0

Will the next 8RDA+ bios use this new template from nvidia with "cleaner" signals?

New beta nForce drivers:

I took that to mean yes as this noise reduction bios improves "stability"

I also said that you guys shouldnt expect an UBER 250fsb bios, bios inproovements may help overclocking but dont expect a miracle.

These aren't beta nForce2 drivers - they've been released by a mobo maker as an update package for their users, and impatient nForce2 owners have jumped on them like they're some kind of leak from nVidia.

It's amazing how a single, harmless comment on nfhq forums can start a frenzy, lol :-D

There's hardly anything updated at all - much wiser to wait for the NEW drivers from nVidia themselves

"beta"
This nForce WinXP driver package contains the below components:

Audio driver 3.34 (WHQL'd)
Audio utilities 3.17
Network driver 3.13 (WHQL'd)
GART driver 2.78 (WHQL'd)
SMBus driver 2.75 (WHQL'd)
Memory controller driver 2.75 (WHQL'd)
IDE driver 2.70 In The Box (WHQL'd)
IDE driver 3.07 Full Driver
Installer 3.22

"official 2.03"
This nForce WinXP driver package contains the below components:

Audio driver 3.17 (WHQL'd)
Audio utilities 3.17
Network driver 3.13 (WHQL'd)
GART driver 2.78 (WHQL'd)
SMBus driver 2.75 (WHQL'd)
Memory controller driver 2.75 (WHQL'd)
IDE driver 2.70 In The Box (WHQL'd)
IDE driver 3.07 Full Driver
Display Drivers 41.13 (WHQL'd)
Installer 3.22

I am not sure that anything has changed except the audio drivers to 2934 from 2917 in the 2.03. The IDE driver does install with no prompts. I have a feeling my CD-RW won't won't work next time.

BTW don't uninstall the nForce drivers before you install new ones, take my word for it. ;D

I already have 204 FSB without the Vdd mod and a rev 1.0 board so I can't ask for more but it would be nice to get a free boost across the board though.

Up to 2938 audio drv is available via windows update/windows update catalogue, so this isn't a revelation!

ROFLMAO - so if you install these 2.78's then go to Windoze Update, you'll end up with EXACTLY the same driver versions as if you'd installed 2.03 and hit Windoze Update :-D

Cool
