Whatwhatwhat?? A world without case badges!? Whether or not the world ended, who'd want to live anyway?

Speaking of coming to a full stop, when does the Mayan calendar end? Not too far ahead, IIRC. Until then, Official AOA case badges here! They are FREE, simply send me a Private Message!

If we're all going to die in the near future maybe we shouldn't sweat the details?

But if I don't sweat the details the more important details rush to the fore. And I don't play golf.

Unless the Mayans knew of a recurring disaster in a cycle, perhaps meteoric in nature that we don't, there's no reason to sell the farm. Oops, forgot that the farm was already sold out from under us by our glorious leaders.

A radiant future from our most glorious leaders. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Future? Now...how do you like it? As You Like It, that Shakespeare guy was ahead of his time.

I like Family Guy. It's way out in left field quite a bit, but funny all the same. Are you seeing this cartoon in the UK? Just wondering.

Family Guy can be really good, and it can be really self-confident and stupid. I watch it because when it hits, it's great, but it can be quite disappointing sometimes.

Honestly, I typically get my daily dose of funny from reruns of Futurama. I hear they are renewing it? That would be excellent.

I want Arrested Development back, though. Fox, why oh why do you have some insipid reality shows when you could have Arrested Development.

When Peter stubs his toe and repeats "oww, oww, oww" a hundred times it's insulting, so I hit the channel changer and then come back. I liked Futurama too, allegedly they made more new shows, but it's long gone on Fox, so I dunno. Too much of a tightwad to pay ~$48 for basic cable. A rinky dink cable co. has the franchise here and they suck. Hard. Can't put a Direct tv dish on my apt building, so I make do with three visible channels.
Arrested Development was great, but it was difficult for the writers to keep that ensemble going interestingly. I think, anyway.

Yeah, Direct TV is the only choice out where I live, no cable. But I'd have it if there was cable, anyways. Good quality, especially for HD stuff.

Ahh, what else can Fox do to destroy our lives?

Their news and entertainment divisions are separate. Fair and balanced... yeah, sure. At least they push the envelope with their entertainment programming sometimes.

Chew need badge for case? You know what to do!

I think they use their entertainment side to exhibit the outrages that the news side blathers on about? Some sort of self-feeding cycle? A snake eating it's own tail for the amusement of the populace?

Very interesting theory! I had only the most inchoate of inklings, thanks for making the concept fully visible.

In a Simpson's episode King Kong, uh, King Homer invades a neighboring sound stage and eats a Shirley Temple (Black) lookalike. I cried rivers, not exactly. My laughter was heard for yards, call me twisted but I hate S. T. Why? The degree of mania, in aid of lifting the average schmoe's spirits, expected from actors during the Great Depression was beyond insulting. But why take my ire out on Shirley Temple? Why not?

Reagan appointed her to an Ambassadorship in a west African country that I don't recall. Lucky lady. I dunno, maybe she's a good person? Is that remotely possible?

Grass stains on your white jeans. Yo mama must be crazy, kid. White pants? Thinking back on it, you might be right!

Anyone seen Monkey Warfare? It's film from Canada that sounds interesting. Perhaps an antidote to Chimp warfare? Our failure to impeach our Chimp and deputy leaves blood dripping from all of our American hands.
