I read that 50% of people's savings in China goes into manufacturing. For some reason, we have no savings at all. You need to live extremely frugally to accumulate any savings here. I bet they have to there, as well. It used to bug me that some older Chinese folk count out their change very slowly and carefully. Then I realized that they come from a place where people starve to death. Changes your perspective when you keep that in mind.
