I was traversing a slope at Squaw Valley and noticed I was on a collision course with a kid. I turned uphill--mistake. Wham, we collided. "Sorry about that" I said as we regained our composure.
"I get hit in Pop Warner harder than that" said the young man. Moral? Turn downhill in that situation. I almost always do.

There's a tv show about alcoholic beverages on Ion tv's -3 channel. The host of the show appears to be a stone boozer. Takes one to know one. Hard likker ads have been prohibited for decades, I'm surprised that slurping the sauce is seen on the stupid machine.

Yet McDonalds lives on. If you're over 40, can you still digest their food? It's been at least fifteen years since I ate any golden arches foodlike stuff, and that was a fishwich and fries. The three day stomach ache is green in my memory. Ray Kroc, are you still a happy unit?

Some say that silver will become extinct in our time. Most gold ever mined is still around. Silver gets used up in industrial processes. And it oxidizes away slowly if not kept in airtight containers. In three years it may well be worth fifty dollars an ounce. It costs about $16 per ounce now. Hmm.
Paper money depreciates away, sure as sugar.
