(8RD3+) nForce Drivers v2.42 & C-Media Audio

Hi.

Maybe I'm being stupid, but do the nForce drivers install the drivers for the C-Media on my 8RDA3+, or do I need to install these from the EPoX CD???????

You need to install the 3rd party driver

Thank you.

I've just noticed on the nVidia website, that they have completely pulled the v2.41 and v2.42 drivers! Only the original v2.03 drivers are there now!

Make you wonder what M$ do to give them WHQL certification! Not worth a penny obviously. Typical M$. I wonder how many security problems they know about and have done a half-job fixing??!?!?!?!?!

Semi solved CD issues seem to be the reason for them being pulled as we all know with the IDE drivers

The WHQL certification just means that MS certified that they'd probably not crash Windows (IE, they were written within MS's guidelines for drivers). WHQL certification doesn't mean that they'll actually do anything useful!
