| I was just wondering what the main differences in performance are between these two boards. I know the 3+ drops the MCP-T and loses a pci slot, but is the newer 400 ultra model. I regular DA+ is $85 and available here now while the 3+ might not be in stores for a couple more weeks and will cost $125. I'm just curious if it is even worth the wait for the 3+ board or not. Going to be running high FSB and would have liked the MCP-T chipset, but can do without for the better performing board. Any suggestions?

| I think if you land a newer 8RDA+ they should be about the same, maybe the newer one can hit a slightly higher OC, but it does guarantee 200 FSB, whereas the 8RDA doesnt. I can only do like 190 stable on mine, but I run it at 182 which is fine. ![]()

| Hello All, I believe that the 8RDA3+ also supports chipset voltages and adds the P4 12V connector for added stability. Theres also the SATA RAID and the 9739A sound which supports AC-3 encoding. Regards, Szandor
