8kha and 2400 ddr

did a quick search to try to find some info....didnt find any.......so....has anyone with the 8kha.......had any trouble with corsair xms 2400..???
my board dosent seem to like the stick (256) i have ...will (boot) work with another stick of 2700 corsair.....??

I am running a 256MB XMS 2400 stick. It runs fine however, the first one I bought was RMA'd. Try each DIMM slot before you RMA it. A 2400 stick runs at 300Mhz and a 2700Mhz runs at 333Mhz so (unless overclocking) the 2400 stick is over (which is fine) required speed.

BTW, I have:

1- 256MB CORSAIR XMS 2400
1- 256MB CORSAIR 2700
1- 500MB CORSAIR XMS 2700

The 2400 was my first and it has been running great for nearly two years.

thanks for your reply....since the problem ..i have tryed the 2400 ram in diffrent boards and no go.......will have to RMA.......thanks.....
