help me with 8RDA3+ and AXP 2400+

Dear all,

My AXP 2400+ won't run at 2000 MHz (neither 12x166 nor 15 x133) in my new 8RDA3+. It run stable at lower speed (12 x 133)
and it run at 12x166 on my 8RDA+.
the rest configurations is same.
- Corsair 1 x 512 MB CL 2 xms PC2700
- Maxtor 60 GB
- Power Color GeForce Ti4200/128 MB with detonator 43.xx
- Win XP sp1 directX9

I tried to flash bios with new one (8RD33507) but seems no effect. I use X-dream heatsink and the proc temp is about 40-45 degree of celcius.

And also everytime I've raise V core above standard axp2400+ (1.65 to 1.75), the system couldn't boot to windows.

Pls anyone who can help me
Kurnia

try checking the cpu's core to see if u chipped it. i had a tbird 1.33ghz that i was able to run at 1.6ghz until i chipped a small piece of the corner off. it would then run fine at stock speeds, but would no longer oc at all, even if i merely raised the fsb 1mhz.

What is ram timings? Is it set to SPD? What are your voltages for vcore/vdimm/vdd? Try increasing the voltages for each and see.

I've tried ram timings 2,2,2,6 for 133 and 2,3,3,7 with 166
vcore = 1.65V
vdimm = 2.66V
Vdd = 1.6V

if i increase vcore it won't boot to windows.

also i've seen there's no crack in core.

Try removing the FSB select jumper completely & experiment with CPU interface set to either optimal or aggressive.

I presume you have a good PSU and the 12 v auxillary connecter is being used? & you have a good Heatsink and fan?
