| temp of cpu alarm going off the temp of my cpu is starting slowly to go up after buying my computer in october the temp was 43 degrees in november it had crept up to 45. Now after ghostdumping the system suddenly it's 49 creeping up on 50 degrees. 1.is this normal ? 2.is it safe to set the alarm to 56 degrees/turn it off ? I have not overclocked my system but i have set the bios settings to turbo/optimized without changing the voltages. I am a "normal user"! so please don't make fun at me! 4 st Papst 8412NGL 80x80x25 19.4cfm 1500rpm Silent Systems "Q Technology" Ultra Quiet 300W ATX CPU fan SILVERADO GainWard GeForce2 PRO/450 "Golden Sample" 64Mb 4.5ns DDR TV-out Retail AGP Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Player Retail PCI 1 st EPoX EP-8KHA+ KT266A AMD Athlon XP 1600+ Palomino 1400MHz/1.4GHz 512 Mb memory
