8RGA+ & Thermaltake Crystal Orb, Core Logic (Chipset) cooler

Hello all you good people!!
Can someone tell me, would the Thermaltake Crystal Orb, Core Logic (Chipset) cooler . Fit directly onto the stock NB Chipset Heatsink on my 8RGA+.. And if so, how...

Or does it require my stock HS tp be removed...If this is the case, what is the safest method of doing so!!

Thanks for your patients, for a novice o/clocker!!!! Hey soon to be a clockerholic

Steve

Hmm, I don't think that fits but you'd better wait for more replies on this one as I'm not entirely sure. Currently the best, and also most annoying to obtain chipset/NB cooler is the Vantec Iceberq. The Pro and 4 Series don't fit the NB apparently.

Have a look at them below, the copper one has loads of extra's that come with it. http://www.burnoutpc.com/index.php?p...s&review_id=15
I know for a fact this fits the RGA, as a friend of mine has one fitted. I'm having trouble getting these in the Uk, so I made a homemade NB fan holder thing for now lol.

Edit: Oops, I must add that for most NB cooling solutions, you will need to remove the stock heatsink for best thermal heat transfer between your new cooler and the NB chipset itself.

Edit No2 lol: Two URLS below, about how to replace the NB cooler.

Check this thread, the 8rga+ is the same fitting as the 8rda+, and the 8rda3+ I believe.
