Is it worth upgrading...?

I currently have Epox 8k5a3+
AMD 2200 CPU and 512mb Samsung PC2700..

my question is , is it worth upgrading to a new Barton core cpu (say 2500),
will i see much of a performance increase with this or should i wait a while.

Thanks for any info

Well, at stock speed I'd say its not worth the money for such a "small" upgrade. However, if you get one that overclocks well....
