Question 8RDA+ rev 2.1 truth?

What's up with that? I read a few forums talking about it. Anyone know the real story about why a so short life for rev 2.0? I don't think you get a new revision number only for reverting back to Sanyo capacitors...

The only reason I see they went with rev 2.1 is because people are crazy about new revision so they think they will sell better being the only company to offer a 2.1 while all other are 2.0 (Abit, Asus, etc). So they think they will fool people beleiving 2.1 is again a more improved revision than others.

I may be wrong, just let me know.

IMHO, that seems to be an EpoX secret right now, so I don't think you will get an official answer.
EDIT: read this (special rules on posting in EpoX supported forum)

I don't think it has anything to do with the "marketing" part, as most of the buyers are unaware of this. Ha, they could well put out a rev 3.0 for that purpose!

You are correct - you are wrong in this assumption.
