go to this review.. both of these heatsinks are the best air coolers known. can't go wrong with either one.. but you can decide which you like better!

mikele, I have used the Zalman 6000 , the SLK900u , but have just seen the Zalman 7000 in pictures. I favor the SLK900u over the Z6000 because it lets me run waaay cooler and OC higher. I would also recommend the SLK 900u over the Z7000 because it has 4 mounting screws that hold it on and I would think there would be less chance of damaging the cpu core chip when it gets installed, Z7000 only has 2 screws. For the North Bridge some people use Vantec Iceberq http://vantecusa.com/iceberq.html

you can't go wrong with the SLK series...

I'm still using an SLK-800 with 39cfm fan and it cools great and allows me to overclock a bunch...

The latest and greatest though is the SLK-900 although the difference from the SLK-800 is marginal and very very tiny...

maybe read what I said once more? I was saying that the difference between the 800 and 900u are bigger than what he 'suggests'

I've seen reviews that show at most a 3C reduction in temp... That's a pretty small difference in my book...
