I wouldn't suggest it as an upgrade to the 8K7A - just not enough difference in features and performance unless the dip switches on the 8K7A annoy you that much. If you were buying for a completely new machine I would definitely go with the 8KHA+. The new bios for the 8KHA+ fixes the overclocking issues and makes it a solid performer, but it's not so much better as to dump your 8K7A.

Sit tight with your 8K7A if you are happy with it.
I had a 8K7A earlier and the switch to 8KHA+ was not worth it.
Not that 8KHA+ is bad in anyway but not better than 8K7A in my opinion.

Upgrades are ALWAYS recommended! If you find it wasn't a worthwhile upgrade, just roll back the hardware, then use the spare parts to build ANOTHER rig! That's how my parents went from a P1 133 to a PIII 500. I just used spare parts I had to build them a computer. (A P1 133 with DSL is like a firehose aimed at a teacup.)

Ideal upgrade paths for 8K7A+ would be 8KHA2 or 8KHA3 with their superb RAID offerings.

What's the difference going to be between the 8KHA2 and 8KHA3???

Is there going to be a SIS745 chipset board for us to toy with???
