| Been a while since I really looked at motherboards. BUT.... The board I have been most happy with is my Iwill kk266, now a bit out of date I should add. However when I buy a new board one of my biggest considerations will be the availability of my own personal EPoX tech, and the people here in the forums he has spent a good deal of time helping and teaching. But that's just one opinion and there's only one guy I know who should think it the most important opinion ":O}

| I obviously cannot comment on offerings from our competitors however our imminent 8KHA2 and 8KHA3 RAID KT266a boards would fit the bill for you at a reasonable price point too.

| I have an Epox 8KHA+ and the MSI nForce board. I've done some reading on the Abit board too. I think that your purchase decision should come from what other features you need from your board. Let's say you have a top end Audigy, a smart card reader, and you have NIC's laying around. Then obviously, you wouldn't need any of the extra features of the Soyo Dragon+ board. For you, that would then be a waste of money. If you need and want those features though, the Soyo is a mega bargain. I hear the Abit board is one of the best overclocking boards around for lazy overclockers. Basically that mean you can get top speed with minimal tweaks and not have to play around with beta BIOSes like the Epox. I personally like tweaking with my rigs, so if it were up to me, I would wait for the Epox. One other board you might want to consider is the MSI PRO2-RU. It comes with USB 2.0 which might come in handy in the future. Take Care, Mook
