| 8RDA+ And no USB device detection Anyone help. Installed a new CPU cooler and every since the USB has stopped working, all ports including mobo adaptor. The device is configured in windows but no devices are detected when put into USB slots. I noticed this at first when my keyboard wouldn't allow me to enter bios then when in windows both the USB mouse and keyboard wouldnt work. Ime having to use USB adaptors in the PS2 ports to get them to work. Ive chnaged bios to the latest 1 revision back and the original that came with the mobo. Could it be the PSU? it an original Cheiftech 350w cheers Denzil

| Denzil, Did you plug your cpu cooler fan into the motherboard header ? If so you might want to try using one of the molex connectors , as the headers on the board are rated for .5A power draw. It (the cooler fan) might be drawing too much power away from the USB ports. You may find this page helpful . Bob |
