8rda+ win98 audio problems with some games

8rda+ rev 1.1 (bios 03/05/2003) all the rest in the signature.
I have some audio problems with 2 simulators: Falcon 4.0 (patch 1.07 ita) and IL-2 (patch 1.2).
I use win 98 and I tried:
cd drivers;
epox 2.00 (error during installation, not able to complete it);
nvidia 2.03 (english version, light version without video driver, installation OK, same audio problem);
nvidia 2.41 (english, 2 errors while installing audio driver, installation completed, problem with the video driver, freeze duting DirectX 8.1 video test...)

I've read somewhere that there are little differences between nforce audio and epox implementation, is it true?
If anyone can, please help me! If nvidia doesn't make any new driver revision for win 98 I think I will have to change this MB to play those simulators...
Bye

Hi
I don't think Nvidia wrote drivers for the Audio on the 8RDA+(MCP-T)
I never got it sorted.I tried the win me/98SE ones but they didn't work.Had to go to over to XP.

I wonder if there is anyone else with win 98 and has the same problem. I'm sure it's a driver issue, but I can only wait... bye
