Epox 8K7A+ AND WIN95

I had windows 2k on my machine for just over 2 years. I want to (as I did on another computer) set it up for a dual boot option. That being Win95 and my Win2kpro. I have all my pci cards removed except for the video card. I have tried 5 times to install Win95 first (as you should in a dual boot setup), At the end of win95 install, it goes into a automatic reboot sequence to detect hardware. Upon the first reboot, I get the message "Windows protection error, you must restart your computer", each and every time. I can get into SAFE MODE OF 95. I did have DOS 5.0, DOS 6.22, Win3.0, and Win 3.11 running fine with NO problems untill I do the 95 install. I have gone the route of a win95 upgrade via floppies AND a Cd version. I have also tried a version of Win95 install for computers that dont have DOS on them. each time it fails, I reformat the partition. I have never had any problems like this before. The EPOX 8K7A+ motherboard ran like a champ , so I'm very confient its still good and nothing is wrong with the mobo. Twice I have rran a repartition program theat came with my hard drive, but that didnt help either. HELP I'm at my wits end. I realy do want a dual setup. How can it run on DOS 5.0, 6.22, Windows 3.0 , and Windows 3.11 but not 95?
