Question 8RDA+ v2.1: NForce Drivers - update - yea or nae?
As a Epox and NForce2 newbie, is it worth updating the individual drivers for the onboard sound, lan, etc or just sticking with the NForce 3.13's? When I put together the system, I just used the NForce 3.13's rather than the driver program on the cd accompanying the mobo. This is running XP.

Any problems, stability issues, improvements, etc?

I'd just check your CPU utilisation. On my 8RDA+ v1.1 the 3.13 NIC drivers caused a fairly constant 4-5% CPU utilisation. I had to revert back to the previous NIC drivers.

The 3.13 drivers work perfectly. I don't use a NIC so I am not sure if it's really taking up that utilization.

I did a fresh install with WinXP Pro and SP1 then installed the 3.13's and after the reboot, my system BSODed on me. I tried it again and it same thing. The error message contained something about HDD failure, I forget exactly. I use the 2.45a Mwarhead rewrites and they are awesome.
