Epox temp download site now up.
As many of you may know, the main Epox ISP has been down the last several days.

Finally Epox have provided a temporary download site for all it's peeps:

THE NEW OFFICIAL BIOS DOWNLOAD FOR THE 8KHA+ APPEARS TO BE LABELLED THE 11/26/01!!!!!

Before the main site was down the latest official bios was the 11/02/01.

That is a temporary BIOS image on our temporary server. When the support site is back up, the official BIOS date will be 02/11/01.

I know everyone wants a new BIOS - but patience should be practiced. When we are good and ready a fully documented BIOS release will be made.

So is the 2/11/01 BIOS the final release of the beta BIOS that everyone seems to be going ape**** for?

Do not use bios 8khi1b26 dated 11/26/2001, as this bios is not good and still has warm reset issue. The best bios for 8KHA+ so far is still the beta bios 8khal00 (11/30/2001) and 8khi1c18 (12/18/2001) as both of them allows you to run at high FSB without any warm reset issue. I am hungry for a new good overclocking bios, Epox Tech

Considering that England is the link that the Epox link goes to, and England uses day/month/year system, this BIOS should be strikingly similar to the US 11/02/01 BIOS

Quite correct .

As for a new BIOS - I shall just have to wait for one to appear with the next ECN. Don't worry - as soon as it appears I'll put it somewhere. Until then - folks, please don't keep clutching at straws and calling things OFFICIAL - it misleads people and doesn't benefit anyone in the end.
