| New Bios anytime soon? Mr. Epox, Is there going to be another Bios update for the 8KHA in the near future? The last bios update (10-31) did fix a bunch of problems but killed the speed of the board.. Just wondering because of all the talk about another 8KHA+ bios update.. Thanks for your help T-Bird 1.4 Epox 8KHA+ 2 x 256 Crucial PC2100 DDR Quantum Fireball AS40 HDD Win XP Pro (AHHHHHH!!! Darn VIA, MS, NVIDIA issues!!) Visiontek GF GTS-VE @ 205 and 345 (best $65 I've spent and Newegg)

| SPEED!! Thanks for responding.. The last bios update fixed a bunch of issues with my Athlon XP proc, but my memory and general system speed was reduced by about 15%, enough to notice when playing games or working with Adobe files. I've noticed that Epox usually will release a bios to fix issues, then a month or so later, regain any speed loss with an optimized bios. Just wanted to see if anything was scheduled to come out...I'm starting to feel that my MB is being ignored because of the success of the 8KHA+..... Thanks,

| Personally I don't think that there is a requirement for a new BIOS binary for this planar at present, however as ever the binary is being worked upon. The latest development BIOS is 8khi2108.bin actually - but that is not for public consumption in any way.

| That BIOS binary has now been finalised along with new BIOSes for 8KHAL and 8KHA and will be available for d/l from AOAFILES shortly.
