8K9A with leaking capacitors...warranty repair?

I have an 8K9A rev 1.0 that has been giving me hell. It would crash here and there while also showing whacky CRC errors at times. So I removed the mobo and took a good look at it. Whadda ya know, it has a leaking capacitor near the ATX connector. Could be my problem, right?

So this board is well over a year old and I was wondering is there some sort of warranty repair EPOX will do or am I ****** outta luck?

TIA for any helping words of wisdom.

Contact Epox, they should at least repair it for you?

Hey, googled around and finally found some good info on Geek.com:
here

If you read the "EPOX Motherboards" reply on Aug 15, 2003, EPOX is covering these capacitor failures even if the mobo is out of warranty. Good on you EPOX!

I will now contact them and get an RMA so I can get this bad boy back in working order.

P.S. After reading the above article, I think I will also be sending back my 8KHA+ that won't start up anymore. Was running fine then sputtered and won't start. I moved all the components to another board and they run fine so the mobo is the problem.

Oh well, here's to a good experience with EPOX.
