Unhappy BSOD after 3dvp560 gpu installed in 4g4a+

After inserting this new video card, the machine will boot past bios, start to load windows and then give BSOD with error message saying to the effect of - does not recognize boot disk, remove any newly installed HD- though I have not touched my drives. As soon as I take out the card, loads great. Please help.

I have seen this happen a couple of times with Matrox Millenium cards. I had to put the old video card in and boot to Windows, load the stock plain jane 16 color VGA driver, and then reboot with the new video card.
