Question Which PSU?

Hello all!

I'm looking to upgrade a PSU in one of my machines. I'm looking at a Sparkle FSP400-60GN(12V) 400w, and an ENERMAX EG465P-VE( FC ). Any clues that will push me in the direction of one over the other. Both PSU's get great reviews, but the 5v issue has me concerned, as my current machines Antec 400w is only giving about 4.9 idle and as low as 4.73 under load ( can't overclock much at all, even after messing with the pots on the PSU)

Any experience with either brand or exact model will be greatly appreciated!

The new system is as follows:

IWILL XP333 MB (burned in for the last several days)
XP1600 (green rev)
512 of Crucial PC2100 DDR (tested more than stable at over 180FSB
Cooler Master ATC-201-SX
A bunch of fans!
2 80 gig IBMs (RAID 0)
Plextor 24x CDRW
20 gig Quantum HD (MP3 HOG)

P.S. I'll be ordering this soon, so let me have it!

Thanks in advance,

All enermax's regardless of size have issues when it comes to boards requiring that strong 5v rail. I've heard good things about sparkle, but never owned one tho.

I have an enermax 330w, and the 5v runs at 4.83v, but it's stable.

Sorry, should have said that I'm going to buy 2 PSU's, one for each machine. The PSU for the epox is the one i'm really concerned with!

Sparkle and Antec. Enermax and Epox doesn't match. I have an enermax 300 watts it has a low 5+. get an antec or sparkle psu. they have a better 5+ volt rail .

I was running a sparkle 400watt on my 8KHA+ the 5v line stayed at 5v without any pot tweaking.
Although it does have pots to be tweaked should you need it.
A very good PSU and highly recomended.
