Question

Before Christmas I managed to get the advanced features in the NV system utility working on my EPoX 8RDA+ rev2.1 by editing the "nvsuoem.ini" file!
Today I updated to the latest version of the system utility, and when I uninstalled the old version, the "nvsuoem.ini" file was deleted!
I cant for the life of me remember where I found the changes, or what they were?

Please help!!

Really quite. We were down for over 24 hours, always take a big hit when that happens. We are down around 200 people from last week.

Yeh, I noticed they were down, but back now
Don't suppose you can help, all wise one?
I'm sure I got the information on these forums about altering the NV system utility nvsuoem.ini file to get the advance features working. I'm such a dumbass, should have thought of that before I updated to latest version.

Talking

Hello Jim, hello Daniel

I am back again, aren't we all? I was sad to see that the one place I learn a lot from is down, but now I am happy!!!
Nice thing Jim to answer to your own question, hope that will never happen again here. I was ready to answer as I was scrolling down the page and then it came your own answer.

Chris

Hi jimbobaggies,

tried to edit the nvsuoem.ini as you proposed but nothing happens to my 8RDA3+. Still only get the basic options...
Do you know, if I have to modify any other lines for the 8RDA3+ ?
Thanks in advance...

I've edited the file, but it doesn't work for my 8rda+ rev 1.1.
Am I doing something wrong, or it just won't work on the rev 1.1?
Thanks.

Well, I believe that you require to have the latest bios to support the advance features. Also, the 8RDA+ rev1.1 will not support the advanced features anyway!

I noticed that the official EPoX version doesn't give access to the second overclocking menu! Is there any reason for this?

I'll be very honest and say I haven't personally used it.........

I'm an old school BIOS overclocker - the only overclocking tool I ever use is the Auto Overclocker finding utility on my 5950 Ultra in the Office - gives me a ball park figure of where I can start to go with any NVidia card.

Yeh, you're right, I just like to look at it tbh, I'd much rather tweak the bios settings at boot!
Another quicky.
What is going to give the most accurate readings for temperature, voltage and fan speed;
NVSU / USDM / MBM5 ?
